You can easily make these 50/50 wholemeal/white. And also increase the fruit as in this recipe http://www.feastingisfun.com/extra-fruity-hot-cross-buns/ . Likewise increasing the honey to 2tbsp will yield a sweeter result, especially when increasing the fruit content to 200g. I hope this helps?
